We are growing our business

2021 has been a great year despite the challenges of Covid-19. To us, it has been a busy year in many terms, where we, among other things, have experienced a rapid growth – both in Denmark, but also in Asia. During the year, we have grown with 45 % new colleagues since last year making the total number of employees 60+.

Our rapid growth is, among other things, related to the significant demand for a green transition globally. It is a true pleasure to experience this very important development, and we find it exciting to follow the many great initiatives across sectors, such as power-to-x-to-power. It is incredible to be able to contribute to this transition with our solutions – and our goal is to continuously develop new and even more sustainable solutions to use for the maritime industry.

Ammonia project

Right now, we have a strong focus on developing the next variation of our solutions, so that shipping can be powered by green ammonia in the future. Together with MAN Energy Solutions, DTU and DNV, we are currently working intensive on the AEngine project funded by Innovationsfonden. The project aims to develop an engine using green ammonia for propulsion with associated supply system and Fuel Valve Train. The project is well on track, and we are looking forward to our continued collaboration the following years.

Service

Another important focus point this year, has been the delivery to- and commissioning of the many ships worldwide despite the global Covid-19 challenges. To accommodate the increasing inquiries on service jobs, we have expanded our service department with a new and bigger office in Korea and we continuously educate more employees to become traveling service Engineers, both in Demark but also in Korea.

Expectations for 2022

For 2022, we expect to continue our growth to keep up with the growing demand for sustainable solutions within the maritime industry. We will work towards increasing our presence in Asia even more to be closer to our customers and to ensure the best service possible.
