Commissioning & Sea Trial

Let our Service Engineers ensure that your new product is installed correctly, functioning in accordance with specification and supervised during the initial operation.

A newbuild product from us must pass the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) before shipping. This ensure that the product work according to specification and classification. However, during a commissioning the product has to function on a vessel and not in a controlled environment. Correct electrical and mechanical connections and feedback from all components is required for success.

Sea Trial (or Gas Trial) will test the product closer to its limits and capabilities on a sailing vessel. All the different parts on the vessel must perform and any waiting time could pause the entire operation.
