Sustainability Report: Eltronic Group reduces emissions, expands workforce, and advances ESG commitments

The knowledge and technology group, Eltronic Group, presents their annual Sustainability Report 2023/2024. This year, Eltronic Group has set clear targets and achieved progress across its subsidiaries, demonstrating a unified commitment to innovation, responsibility and sustainability.

Setting clear targets on ESG commitments

As part of the ESG strategy, Eltronic Group has set ambitious targets for reducing CO2e emissions from its own operations, diversity, safety, and employee well-being.

Looking ahead, Eltronic Group is committed to making steady progress on its sustainability journey by implementing actionable strategies that address environmental, social, and governance targets. The Group will continue to collaborate with its customers and partners to achieve shared goals while driving innovation and responsibility across industries.

Building a strong workforce together

Over the past year, Eltronic Group’s workforce grew by 17%, reaching 1,825 employees. Moreover, Eltronic Group achieved a 79% employee satisfaction rate and increased the number of female managers by 21%, reflecting the Group’s focus on creating an inclusive and empowering workplace culture.

This year, Eltronic Group has reduced CO2e emissions from its own operations by 19% since last year, which emphasizes the Group’s commitment to efforts to minimize its environmental impact. Eltronic Group has committed to achieving net-zero in own operations before 2050.

Eltronic FuelTech: Sustainability through innovation and investments in green technologies

We are proud to be a part of a strong Group that embrace a profound sense of responsibility and an unwavering commitment to setting ambitious goals. As an active contributor to the decarbonization of the maritime industry, we are dedicated to developing innovative solutions that drive real change.

At Eltronic FuelTech, investments in research and development is a top priority, we allocate approx. 40-50% of our R&D activity to pioneering future fuel technologies such as ammonia and green methanol. Our mission is to push innovation forward and create sustainable alternatives that transform the maritime sector.

Regarding our efforts at Eltronic FuelTech, CEO, Louise Andreasen states: “We are not only expanding our product portfolio, but also actively participating in large-scale development projects to foster innovation in the maritime sector.

This year, we are also proud to have joined the Danish Government’s Maritime Growth Team, enhancing our industry influence and enabling us to play a key role in shaping the future of sustainable shipping.
