Ceremony for the world’s first 2.5-Inch FVT delivered for CPGC-MAN12G95ME-C10.5-LGIM Engine

Eltronic FuelTech is pleased to announce the successful delivery of the world’s first 2.5-inch FVT-MeOH, developed for the CPGC-MAN12G95ME-C10.5-LGIM engine. The delivery was marked by a ceremony at CSSC-MES DIESEL CO.,LTD Office in Shanghai, highlighting a step forward in advancing maritime engine technology and improving fuel efficiency.

Supporting the development of methanol dual-fuel engines

The 2.5-inch FVT-MeOH has been designed to meet the specific needs of the CPGC-MAN12G95ME-C10.5-LGIM engine, the largest methanol dual-fuel (DF) main engine constructed in China. This engine is expected to contribute to more efficient and environmentally friendly shipping operations.

The project includes the construction of 12 container vessels, each with a capacity of 24,000 TEU, commissioned by Orient Overseas Container Line Limited (OOCL), part of COSCO Shipping Group, China’s largest shipping company. These vessels are under construction at two shipyards: Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd., and Dalian COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd.

Official ceremony to mark and celebrate the milestone

To celebrate this achievement, an official ceremony was held at the CSSC-MES DIESEL CO., LTD office in Shanghai this January. The event was attended by key representatives from Eltronic FuelTech, CSTC Shanghai, and CSSC-MES DIESEL CO., LTD, alongside distinguished representatives:
