Eltronic FuelTech expands with office in Korea to meet customers’ desire for presence in Asia.

Eltronic FuelTech A/S, with 80+ employees, has opened its first Korea office on June 1st. The office is located in Yangsan-si, South Korea and is Eltronic FuelTech’s second office in addition to the headquarters in Denmark.

South Korea has the 3^rd largest newbuilding orderbook of vessels globally and more than half of the world’s largest shipyards groups are operated from Korea. And with Korea becoming the 14th country to legislate the vision to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, the expansion is a natural step to accommodate the increasing need for sustainable solutions as well as the expected growth on the Korean market within this sector.

CEO at Eltronic FuelTech A/S, Louise Andreasen has big expectations for the new Eltronic FuelTech Korea Yuhanhoesa office:

“Our vision is to continuously deliver reliable solutions supporting the green transition in the maritime sector. Right now, the green agenda is accelerating worldwide resulting in increased demand for sustainable solutions in Asia. Therefore, we need to be localized to keep up with this demand and to meet the customers’ needs even more efficient. The opening of the new office in Korea is the first of many important initiatives for Eltronic FuelTech in 2022”, she says.

The new office includes sales and service, and the next step is to expand with own production in Korea, which Eltronic FuelTech already has in Denmark.
