Fuel Valve Train

The Fuel Valve Train Ammonia is a block and bleed valve configuration designed to provide isolation capability between the Ammonia fuel supply system and the dual fuel engine. In case of a normal shutdown or emergency shutdown, the Fuel Valve Train will disengage the fuel supply to the engine and send excess fuel from the engine to the recirculation system or vent system.

Fuel Supply & Recirculation System

The Eltronic FuelTech Fuel Supply & Recirculation System Ammonia consists of process equipment complete with pumps, heat exchanger, heating/cooling loop, duplex filter and recirculation tanks, that will safely secure the flow of Ammonia to and from the MAN ES ME-LGI-A engine at the needed pressure and temperature.

To achieve true zero-carbon shipping, Ammonia is one of the most viable fuels. Until now, the technology to safely handle Ammonia as fuel has not been in place, but it is now, and it's a huge step in the right direction for the maritime sector.
